When was the Micro Explorer introduced?
Micro Mobility's official timeline lists the Micro Explorer and Mercedes-Benz eScooter in 2020. PHSCOO's manufacturing team worked with Micro Mobility Systems AG from 2018 to 2025 across the Merlin and Explorer platforms.
We established a manufacturing partnership with Micro Mobility in Switzerland, supplying Micro Merlin electric scooters.
2019 · Upgrade & Preparation
Upgraded the Micro Merlin II with a handbrake and supported Explorer platform development, German ABE preparation and production readiness.
2020 · Explorer Introduction
The Micro Explorer and Mercedes-Benz eScooter were introduced publicly in 2020. Our manufacturing cooperation covered Explorer-platform variants for international markets.
2021 · Explorer S AMG
Micro Explorer S AMG entered the China market, with supply to Mercedes-Benz dealers and supporting after-sales service.
2025 · New Chapter
The cooperation concluded after eight years, followed by PHSCOO's independently developed Butterfly electric scooter platform.
Manufacturing Experience & Quality Systems
Across the 2018–2025 cooperation period, our team supported four core scooter models and production programs for European and international markets.
The work covered product engineering, quality control, component management, certification support, inspection procedures, CAD drawings, bills of materials, standard operating procedures and after-sales systems.
The foundation of the partnership was long-term trust and consistent manufacturing quality.
